Another way we're going to try and save some money is by planting a garden. We weren't able to do this at our old house because the ground was full of rocks and stones. Literally everywhere you dug, up came a rock. But luckily there was already a garden in place at the new house. So after waiting for the weather to finally be decent we got it planted last weekend. Well, Joe did most of the work, I only helped with the corn and watering.
We planted corn, green beans, yellow squash, zuchinni, tomoatoes, red bell peppers, green bell peppers, cantaloupe, lettuce and carrots. Hopefully we'll be successful on our first try.
While Joe was planting Hannah and I were hanging out in the lawn. She practiced walking with her princess-mobile. Her new favorite past time.
